Welcome to my new and soon to be an exciting site!
I am creating this site, along with others, to review products and services and to also explore different business opportunities that I find in my search towards financial independence. I am not an expert on working from home, nor do I make any guarantees about any success or failure that anyone may or may not have with anything on any of my sites. What I do offer are my sincere and honest opinions on what I find and review throughout my searches.
Who is Olivia?
My name is Olivia. It has not always been Olivia. I was born in a body that did not fit who I truly was, and I knew this at an early age. Because of the social stigmas of the times (the 1960s), I was forced to repress my true feeling of who I was. I hid my true identity from not only myself but the entire world.
As I was growing up, I did the things that boys and men were supposed to do.
- Degree in law enforcement.
- Joined the military.
- Became a medic.
- Worked in emergency services and management.
- Married three times. (No children)
- But never truly ever happy and always depressed.
I did grow up with strong Christian and conservative values that I still hold dear too. I will always put my faith in Heavenly Father first before anything. He is the reason that I have spent my life in the service of others. I have spent my life saving and protecting the lives of others and found my purpose in doing so. I describe myself as an ‘extroverted introvert’ as much I love being of service to others, when I am not of service, I enjoy being alone.
As I discovered my true self in March of 2015 and started to live openly as myself in 2017, I became more and more confident in not only who I was but who I could become. In December of 2017, I again injured at work, and thanks to a substandard worker’s compensation system in California, a simple injury turned into a permanent shoulder disability and a significant range of motion loss for me after two years of treatments and red-tape. This did cause a lot of severe financial hardship for me, especially at the end of 2019 and the start of 2020. That’s when you learn who you are and what you are made of.
As I was begging my Church to help pay rent for the third month in a row because the worker’s compensation insurance company was delaying my permanent disability benefits, I started to look for ways to improve my situation overall in life. Working in emergency services, you are never going to get wealthy. Comfortable, maybe. Wealthy, no. I did it because of I of my love of serving others. At the end of 2019, having no income and having to beg to pay rent, $150 negative in the bank, cellphone ready to be shut off, and all my other services already canceled, my mind changed. I started to look for ways to never again be in this spot. It would not be much just $3-6000.00 per month, and I would live a comfortable life. See, I like a simple life. Yet I know that there is so much more out there, and I want to help to teach others how to achieve their dreams and goals so that they can help others too.

As I love to be of service to others, I have seen others in the LGTBQ+ community, more specifically in the transgender community, who have a challenge when it comes to finding gainful employment. This could be for many different factors, including, but not limited to, discrimination, self-awareness, not yet self-identified, or many other factors. So, I would like to explore different possibilities that could assist members of my community find a way to make an income for themselves without the constant fear of harassment, discrimination, being terminated, or anything else because they are their own boss.
The transgender community is but only one of my target audiences. My goal is to reach as many people as I can who are willing to truly work to be their own boss and develop their own business.
As I said before, being your own boss will take time, effort, learning, work, energy, and, yes, even some money. And I make no guarantees to either your future success or failure. That is totally in your hands. What I am doing here and what my goal for this site, and my other sites to come, is to help you find an opportunity that may fit with your personality, budget, and schedule to allow you to take control of your own life!
Why did I pick Wealthy Affiliates for my first affiliate marketing site?
December 2019 was a challenging month for me. I had no income thanks to the insurance company, and I was looking online for ways to save money on groceries. As I did, I just happened to stumble across a link for the Wealthy Affiliates site, so I looked them up. I read a lot of the positive and also the negative online reviews about their program, and the one common thread I noticed in most of the negative reviews was that each one wanted them to be a get-rich-quick program. Most likely, the link that these folks followed was created by someone who promoted the program in that manner. Once you start the training, you will see that it is not the case. So, buyer beware.
Since I had no money and several other affiliate marketing programs that I looked at required an upfront form of payment for something. I was excited to see that Wealthy Affiliates offered you free (and yes limited) training, and 2 free (and yes restricted) WordPress websites, and 3 free WordPress plugins. Wealthy Affiliates (at the time of this post) offers a special for the first month’s premier membership, which opens up a lot of options to you in as far as your website, training, and access to the online community for help and support. They offer affiliate market training for companies all over the internet and also for their own programs. I did choose to become one of their affiliate marketers as I felt it was a way to make money quick, but I have not limited myself to just Wealthy Affiliates.
My goal is to review products and services along with some business opportunities from not only the internet but also the real world. I enjoy trying out new and exciting products and services and assisting others to make informed choices and decisions when making a purchase.
